Line Manager Training - for HR Professionals

OVERVIEW

This full day session is aimed at managers and HR professionals, providing an essential understanding of the key legal obligations and employment processes, with the opportunity to embed understanding via a series of practical case studies. The course is designed to cover the most common procedures and difficult issues that arise, from dealing with concurrent grievance and disciplinary issues to covert recordings and reluctant witnesses.

You will gain a good grounding in the legal obligations owed by employers to employees and how to manage key issues to reduce the risk of claims. You will leave knowing how to have difficult conversations with staff and with the confidence to manage internal procedures from hearing grievances to managing performance. You will also gain a greater understanding of how to ensure compliance with equality law throughout the employment relationship and your obligation to make reasonable adjustments.
