About This Event

Writing with Spirit is a day school exploring spiritual themes through writing on September 5th at Othona Community, overlooking Chesil Beach, costs £60.29 per person and invites participants to engage in writing workshops.

A dayschool exploring spiritual themes through writing in an inspiring setting overlooking the World Heritage coastline of Chesil Beach.

Writing with Spirit is a series of writing dayschools with a spiritual focus in a stunning, inspiring location. Each dayschool (monthly on 1st Saturday, except Oct.) will have a theme we will explore together through a series of contemplative, reflective writing activities. Using breathwork and silence, movement and stillness, we will invite inspiration and vision to craft poetry and prose of profound beauty. Guided by the words of great writers and thinkers through the ages, and our own innate bodily wisdom, we will hone strategies of reflection, recovery, and resilience that will benefit both our own mental health and wellbeing and that of our communities.

£55 per dayschool in advance. 10% discount if you book more than one: 5th Sept;17th Oct; 7th Nov; 5th Dec. Tea, coffee, & cake provided, but bring your own lunch. Wear suitable footwear and clothing for a short, mindful walk (for those with limited mobility Four Seasons Studio opens out onto a wheelchair accessible terrace surrounded by a beautiful area of woodland). Numbers limited to 15. No experience necessary. To avoid paying Eventbrite booking fee pay direct via Paypal using ‘kevanmanwaring@yahoo.co.uk’
