View all →About This Event
Join us for a challenging bike ride to Horseforth followed by some tasty bites at Scoffs cafe! It’s time for another free coffee and cake ride! This ride needs stamina, we’ve gradually increased our distances, and at nearly 24 miles this is the longest yet. It also has roads. A long hill climb, on a country lane, pretty but with cars, and a length of high street with traffic flowing. The majority of the route takes in lovely canal ways and uses all the available cycle infrastructure we can find as we wend our way to Scoffs plant-based café and excellent source of junk food and rainbow build your own salad bar plus donuts as big as my face. If you feel confident in being on our longest ride (legs of steel!), and comfortable following ride leader instructions as we take you on your first roads. Then sign up! Please dress for the weather, bring lots of water, sun cream and some food money if you want to have a Scoffs lunch (recommended). We’ll provide the donuts! Bikes available, but feel free to bring your own. Bring medications that may be needed on the ride with you. We leave 10:45 AM so please arrive on time.
