About This Event

Join professional mosaic maker Abigail Barker, for a fun and informal day, learning to create beautiful mosaic baubles. In this 2.5 hour workshop you will learn the basics of how to cut a variety of shapes from colourful glass mosaic tiles. You will be working on an MDF bauble shaped base that is approximately 14cm in diameter, and you will have a variety of beautiful glass tiles to choose from for your design. You will be given grout and instructions on how to use it, ready to finish at home and hang with your festive decorations. Suitable for all levels of ability. Location and access: The session will be held in the upstairs community room at South Square Centre, Thornton Road, BD13 3LD. A chairlift is accessible to the Community Room. Chairs will also be provided for anyone that would prefer to be seated during the session. The centre can be accessed easily via public transport. There is free on street parking around the centre.
