You will learn about the natural and industrial heritage of the River Worth, and hopefully see some special wildlife along the way.
Route: From Haworth Main Street, aong the River Worth to Long Bridge, and up Penistone Hill before descending back to Haworth.
Distance: 5.6km
Terrain: Some hills to climb/walk down. Footpaths through fields that may be muddy. Stiles to climb over.
Time: 11am - 2pm
Meeting point: Outside St Michael & All Angels Church, Haworth, on Main Street. What3Words: cools.splinters.groups
What to bring: Bring a packed lunch and some water, and any medication you may need.
What to wear: Please wear weather appropriate clothing and stout boots/trainers. Bring a waterproof coat.
