Bring the family, a bunch of friends, or just yourself, to experience the joy of letterpress printing. Create your own prints to take home on the largest printing press of its kind in the world! No experience is necessary.

Individuals

This is a one-to-one letterpress workshop for individuals who want to learn more about letterpress printing and have a go on the press. Using our wide range of letters, you’ll design and set your words in the bed of the press, ink them up, and use them to make your giant print which you can take away.

Learn all the skills and terminology of letterpress printing, and enjoy the unique thrill of peeling back the paper to see the prints that you’ve created yourself.

Families and small groups

Print phrases, bold statements, family names or giant letters and make your own big, bold prints — for your home, as a gift, or as your own public statement.

You can use the big steel letters of our typeface Graft, or design your own letters using the four different shapes of our modular type system, Brico.

This session will allow the group to create one design, but with multiple copies (one per group member) in different colours of paper.

Sessions work well for 1—6 people. No experience necessary, all ages welcome.
