I am looking to recce this walk with a view to leading it on November 21st. It should start from Surprise View car park but, as Leeds Council have now started to charge for this car park, I intend to see how it pads out from The Royalty. It will be around 6 miles I think and it doesn’t involve the really long flight of steps but could involve getting lost! If anyone would like to tag along with me they would be very welcome. I have done this walk a couple of times before and confess to also having got lost a couple of times but nothing that couldn’t be resolved. Hopefully I will have learnt from my mistakes! Hopefully someone will take pity on me maybe more than one of you I don’t mind but bear in mind it is a recce.
