A cozy and creative day spent crafting a beautiful paper rose in autumnal colours.

This workshop takes place in The Espresso Bar at Salts Mill, on the 2nd floor.

Join local artist Olivia Joy Flowers for a creative, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to make a beautiful paper Lark Ascending rose, inspired by the warm, glowing colours of autumn.

Olivia will guide you step by step through the process of creating your rose, including how to build up the subtle apricot tones, and how to shape the petals for botanical realism. There’ll be plenty of time for demonstrations, personalised guidance and a leisurely lunch break in the middle of the day. Snacks and hot and cold drinks will be provided throughout the day to fuel your making.

Meet like-minded craft enthusiasts and enjoy a creative day making something beautiful that you can take home and enjoy for days to come. All materials and templates included - no prior experience needed. Just bring a steady hand and a bit of patience. Recommended age 16+.

Please not lunch is not included, however sandwiches can be ordered at the start of the workshop. You may not eat your own lunch at the mill. See FAQs for more info.
