Does your child love drawing, painting and creating, and want to take their artwork further?

Our weekly After-School Art Club for ages 9–11 is designed for young artists who are ready to build their confidence, develop stronger art skills and begin discovering their own creative style.

Each week, students will explore a different project, artist, technique or material, working across drawing, painting, mixed media, collage, printmaking and occasional sculpture. Along the way, they’ll develop skills such as colour, composition, line, tone, texture, proportion, pattern and mark-making.

Rather than everyone creating exactly the same finished piece, we encourage students to make their own choices, experiment with ideas and find different ways to respond to each project. As their skills grow, they’ll become more confident in developing their own ideas and creating artwork that feels increasingly individual to them.

Sessions are relaxed, supportive and social, with plenty of opportunity to chat, share ideas and make new friends, while still giving children the chance to challenge themselves creatively and level up their artistic skills.

Whether your child already loves art and wants to improve, or is simply looking for a creative space where they can experiment and grow, this class offers the perfect balance of skill-building, creative freedom and fun.

We keep our groups small so every child receives plenty of individual support, encouragement and guidance.

Spaces are limited due to our small group sizes, so early booking is recommended.
