Botanical Printmaking with artist Rosie Emerson 6.30–8.30pm | The Soap Factory £45 per person Join artist Rosie Emerson for a hands-on evening of botanical printmaking, creating up to five unique monoprints directly from seasonal flowers and textured grasses. You’ll learn how to use traditional printmaking inks to capture the shapes, textures and details of natural materials, printing onto beautiful professional printmaking papers with a distinctive torn edge. For this special ‘Hibiscus’ event, we’re bringing a little extra colour to the process. Instead of Rosie’s usual black-and-white palette, you’ll be working with pinks, blues and a sprinkle of gold to create your own collection of colourful botanical prints. No previous art or printmaking experience is needed — the workshop is designed to be relaxed, accessible and fun. Rosie will guide you through the process, and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to experiment and create your own prints. All materials are included. Gloves will be provided, but please bring an apron or old shirt that you don’t mind getting inky. Wallets will also be provided so you can safely take your finished prints home. About Rosie Rosie Emerson is an experienced multidisciplinary printmaker working across screenprint, etching, cyanotype and photography. Her work has been commissioned by The Dorchester, The Waldorf Astoria and Raffles, and she has collaborated with brands including Harvey Nichols and Annoushka Jewellery. Her work has been featured in publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and The Sunday Times Style Magazine.
