About This Event

The Foraging workshop on 12 December 2026 at Urban Forage in Stanmer Park will introduce participants to wild and edible plants, herbs, and fungi. The session includes a forage walk, discussions on sustainable foraging practices, and a demonstration in a woodland workshop. Attendees will learn to identify and harvest wild consumables.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to Identify Wild Plants and Herbs, have you wondered how much edible food is around us?

Start your Forage journey with us, we will give you tools to start Identifying and harvesting you own Wild consumables.

We guide you through how to Forage sustainably and responsibly and show you some of the things we do with Wild Food.

We will tell you which plants to avoid and which plants are in season and educate on the general rules and laws that we follow.

Two and a Half Hours, includes a forage walk around Stanmer, with Discussion and tips on Wild Plants and Fungi. A demonsatrion in our Woodland Workshop, Tasters and Refreshments.
