As two wild food chefs we are very excited to run a foraging walk followed by a workshop and feast of our favourite wild ingredients.

FLAVOUR FRED x URBAN FORAGE

Christian and I recently got together to talk about a couple of hands-on sessions with groups looking to learn about some of our favourite ways to find, cook and preserve some of the best flavours season by season. For 2026 we have 2 dates allocated for Wild Garlic (10th May 2026) & Mega Mushroom Special (27th September 2026) starting at 11am with a 3 hour flavour-led foraging walk followed by demonstrations (examples below) from us at 2pm including tips & tricks as well as some tasty food & drink throughout. Finishing at 4pm with a full follow-up provided of whats been seen and discussed.

Mega Mushroom Special 27th September 2026: All out fungi special witha fungi walk and wonderful selection of mushroom based dishes. Last time we served; Wild Mushroom velouté with sautéed Blusher and Oyster Mushroom; Wood ear & dulse seaweed turnip cake, Japanese quince, rowanberry, rosehip & chilli jam; Gourd “ganoush”, smoked confit ceps; 5 textures of Porcini Orzo stew with bbq lions mane; Chocolate Orange Jelly Ear Truffles (jaffa cakes); Mushroom Mejadra Rice, Wild Greens; Deep Deep Porcini Brownie
