We are back and continue to grow bigger and better than ever! Come and spend an evening with words, stories, laughs and a lovely bunch of people at In Other Words Poetry Night . Whether you’re a devoted poetry lover, a secret poet, someone who thinks poetry “isn’t really your thing”, or you’re simply looking for a warm, friendly night out, you’re very VERY welcome here. We’re all about making poetry feel less intimidating and much more like a night with good people . Expect a brilliant mix of open mic poets, plenty of personality, big feelings, silly moments, and words that might just stay with you. We have a selection of open micers, a headliner and lots of laughs and loveliness along the way as well as a HUGE array of talent. Come on your own, bring a friend, or bring someone you’re trying to convince that they do actually like poetry. Come for the poetry. Stay for the people. Even if the open mic tickets are all sold out, and you feel up for having a go, we have wildcard chosen from a hat on the night, so please do buy a ticket and try your luck if you wish!
