About This Event

This walk starts from Lewes Railway Station. A short walk through the streets brings us to Chapel Hill after which a steep climb is rewarded with panoramic downland views . We will head towards Mount Caburn and return via Caburn Bottom finishing at the Depot cafe next to Lewes Station for optional refreshments.There will be BYO drinks/coffee/ lunch stops on the way round . **Meeting Time :** 10.30am **Meeting Place :** Outside front entrance of Lewes Railway Station **Distance:** Approx. 5.5 miles **Getting there** **& Parking :** By train or bus By car - Car parks nearby **Elevation :** There are some steep and steady climbs. **Pace:** Inclusive. We will be taking the ups and downs at the pace of the slowest person. **Refreshments:** Please bring food and drink for drink/ lunch stop on the way. We walk at an inclusive but moderate pace & like to stay together. Should we concertina, we will regather, allowing people to get their breath back before moving on, particularly on the climbs.
