2025's SOLD OUT production returns - refreshed & updated! A bespoke murder mystery evening celebrating Brighton's iconic railway- the oldest working electric railway in the world.

The year is 1937, the place - your favourite electric railway. The shadow of war is on the horizon and the town is fighting to redefine itself, cleaning up its slumlands and racecourse. Our founding father, Magnus Volk, has not long departed for his eternal terminus, but foul deeds and mysterious happenings are afoot in the world of the railway he created.

You are invited to a wedding reception - a cause for celebration! But tonight, the order of service will include Murder.

Join TouchedTheatre for an original murder mystery that brings to life this fascinating and tumultuous period in Brighton’s history. Expect thrills, laughs and a hearty meal, as well as a memorable night-time ride on the Volk’s Railway itself.

A two course supper is included with your ticket.

Standard Menu: Beef casserole with red wine sauce, sauteed new potatoes and flavoursome seasonal vegetables.

Vegan / GF Menu: Autumn vegetable & three bean casserole with red wine sauce, sauteed new potatoes and flavoursome seasonal vegetables.

Dessert - Apple tart (VE and GF) with raspberry coulis and fresh whipped cream (VE option available)

Dressing up is warmly encouraged - think inter-war chic, gangsters, railway men and wedding fascinators.

The father of the bride requests your prompt attendance by 19:15 (doors: 1900). The evening will run until approx 21.30 . We regret that parts of the performance are currently inaccessible for wheelchair users and those with mobility difficulties: please contact us with any queries.
