Join us for a free evening celebrating traditional orchards — beginning with an optional walk around Allcott’s Orchard, followed by cider, snacks and a talk from orchard expert Les Davies at Kingston Seymour Village Hall.
From 5pm, you’re welcome to meet us at Allcott’s Orchard for a relaxed walk around the orchard. Full details and the location will be sent to attendees beforehand.
We’ll then head to Kingston Seymour Village Hall for 6.30pm, where there’ll be cider and snacks before orchard expert Les Davies, Westcountryman, presents The Living Orchard — an engaging introduction to the wildlife, biodiversity and seasonal life of traditional orchards.
You’ll also hear the story of Allcott’s Orchard and find out more about 100 Orchards, a new charity supporting the future of traditional orchards.
Traditional orchards are beautiful, wildlife-rich places, but they’re increasingly under threat. Come along to discover why they matter and help us celebrate and champion their future.
The event is completely free — just book a free ticket, and please invite friends, family and neighbours to come along too!
