Come Home to Your Cycle is scheduled for 18 October 2026 at Yogasara Studio in Montpelier, Bristol. The session focuses on developing a relationship with one's cycle to enhance self-understanding and acceptance. Tickets are priced at £22.00.
We will explore how developing a relationship with your cycle can deepen self-understanding, self-acceptance, self-trust
Many of us were never taught how to truly understand our cycles. We were made to believe it was dirty, shameful, and something to hide.
We were also handed hormonal contraception to manage pain, or told it was the only safe way to prevent pregnancy; rarely were we shown another path.
But few of us were taught how to listen.
To recognise the changing rhythms of our bodies.
To understand the wisdom, gifts, and powers held within each phase of the cycle.
To see our cycle not as something to manage, but as a guide. An inner compass.
This workshop is an invitation to begin building a deeper relationship with your cycle and yourself.
Perhaps you feel disconnected from your body.
Perhaps you're coming off hormonal contraception and getting to know your natural rhythm again.
Perhaps you experience difficult PMS symptoms and want to understand what they might be trying to tell you.
Perhaps you're trying to conceive and would like a deeper understanding of your fertility.
Or perhaps you simply feel curious about the menstrual cycle and long to trust yourself more deeply.
What to expect:
We will explore how developing a relationship with your cycle can deepen self-understanding, self-acceptance, self-trust, and grow your body literacy. Through embodiment practices, you will be introduced to the power of your menstrual cycle, the gifts, challenges, and needs of each season.
✓ The inner seasons*: what is happening physically, psychologically, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually across each phase of your cycle.
✓ Embodiment practices to move from your mind into your body, for a deeper understanding and connection with yourself.
✓ Fertility awareness**: learning to read the physical signs your body gives you every day, what they mean and how they change through the different phases of your cycle, whether or not you want to conceive.
✓ A circle where you can speak, be witnessed, and feel the power of gathering around shared experience.
This workshop is for all menstruators, wherever you are in your cycle journey.
Whether this is your first step or you are already living cyclically, whether your cycle is regular or not, whether you're wanting to conceive or want to learn how to naturally prevent pregnancy.
You are warmly welcome to join and share your cycle journey with us.
*The menstrual cycle teachings in this workshop draw on the inner seasons framework developed by Alexandra Pope and Sjanie Hugo of Red School (https://www.redschool.net/). Winter at menstruation, spring in the pre-ovulatory phase, summer at ovulation, and autumn in the premenstruum. Living with awareness of these seasons is what Red School call cycle awareness.
**Teachings about the Fertility Awareness Method by Toni Wechler and the Natural Family Planning Teacher’s Association.
All knowledge shared is brought to you through years of lived practice and ongoing study by Maga and Luciana
