Fundamental Skills Workshop: Empowering Children for School P.E. and Beyond!Join LimbPower for our Fundamental Skills Workshop at Bedminster Down School, Donald Road, Bristol, BS13 7DQ. This exclusive workshop is designed to enhance your child's prosthetic proficiency (skills to optimise your child's prosthetic use) and develop the fundamental movement skills needed to take part in school P.E. and everyday physical activity, helping to create a level playing field.

Schedule

Morning Session: 10:00am – 12:00pm

Lunch Break: 12:00pm – 1:00pm

Afternoon Session: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Limited Availability

Age Group: 4–18 years

Places are limited to 24 participants to ensure every child receives personalised support throughout the day.

Places are free, but booking is essential.

Why This Workshop Is Unique

Exclusive Training: A specialist programme designed specifically for children and young people with limb differences.

Skill Development: Participants will develop six key fundamental movement skills, including running, hopping, skipping, catching, throwing and kicking, helping to build confidence and participation in school P.E. and community sport.

Recognition: Children will receive certificates and badges as they progress through the six levels of the programme.

Expert Guidance: Sessions are delivered by LimbPower's experienced coaches and healthcare professionals with extensive expertise in disability sport and physical activity.

Community Building: A fantastic opportunity for children with limb differences and their families to meet others, share experiences and build friendships.

Inclusive Environment: Siblings are encouraged to attend and take part in the activities.
