Calling all women, non-binary, trans & gender-fluid people working in, or curious about, immersive & emerging technologies!
Does marketing yourself or your work feel icky? Do you feel you lack the skills and know-how to build upon your brand? Do you find the language of funding applications daunting? Do you find yourself overwhelmed by all the various channels to possibly market yourself on?
From conversations among our community, we are all in agreement that marketing yourself/your work comes with a lot of challenges - the most noteworthy being confidence, skills, time and money. It's one of those things we ALL put off!
Whether you are looking to gain new clients, apply for funding or generally grow your reach - we want to help you find the time, resources and skills to get this ticked off your to-do list ✅
Join the Ida Network for an insightful event in Bristol, in which we’ll open up an honest conversation about the challenges we face when it comes to marketing. Special Guest, Jenny Grinsted (Storyteller and experienced Content Marketer for the likes of Ultraleap and Scandit), will lead a workshop exploring creative storytelling methods to help us build our confidence in this area, and produce marketing material that feels authentic to us.

How to find us:
The event takes place in the Neutral Lab, at The Sheds (65-71 Avon Street). The Neutral Lab can be accessed via the stairs or lift behind the reception desk. There will be someone on hand at the reception desk as you enter to point you in the right direction.
Access / How to get there:
The Temple Quarter Research Hub, more commonly referred to as The Sheds, is located at 65 Avon Street, Bristol, BS2 0PZ. This is a 5-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station, which has regular train, bus, and taxi services.
There is no general parking on site. We have two parking spaces, located on the forecourt, which are reserved for disabled badge holders. The nearest pay and display car park is located the Gardiner Haskins Car Park located on Unity Street (BS2 0HZ), just a few-minute walk away.
Access to the building is currently limited through a gap in the front gate. Please let us know before your arrival if you require wheelchair access, or a parking space.
