Hi, I'm Dave, and I've been supporting Movember for the past 15 years, raising more than £100,000 for men's health causes.

Over the years, I've taken on some tough personal challenges, usually throughout the 30 days of Movember. Last year alone, I raised over £10,000 by completing one press-up for every £1 donated. That meant an incredible 10,213 press-ups in 30 days!

Many of these challenges have been supported by CrossFit Beorn, where I've also completed feats such as:

A CrossFit Hero Workout every day for a month

Cycling the equivalent distance from Land's End to John O'Groats (over 1,000 miles) on a bike erg

Ski erging the height of Mount Everest (8,849m) every day

After years of pushing my body to the limit, my slightly older 62-year-old body has earned a bit of a break! This year, we're doing something different by hosting a Movember Ball, alongside a silent auction.

Every penny of profit from ticket sales and auction proceeds will go directly towards my Movember fundraising efforts, so any support you can offer is hugely appreciated.

STARTERS

Shredded Indian infused lamb on little gem lettuce leaves topped with a raita dip (GF)

Sourdough bruschetta topped with heritage tomatoes, fresh basil, caramelized red onions topped with buffalo mozzarella drizzled with alight chili oil (served cold) (can be Vegan, can be GF)

JLS king prawn cocktail topped with an avocado smash (can be DF and GF)

MAIN COURSE

Fillet of beef served with dauphinoise potatoes, butternut squash puree, carrot, parsnip and green bean vegetable parcel with a beef jus (GF)

Chicken stuffed with asparagus, wrapped in smoked bacon and puff pastry, served on a leek and cheesy mash cake with roasted root vegetables and peas, accompanied by a sparkling white wine and tarragon sauce. (Can be GF, can be DF)

Salmon fillet, parmentier potatoes, braised fennel, asparagus, peas, spinach in a brown butter and caper sauce (GF)

Roasted vegetable, mozzarella and fresh basil gateau served on a carrot and potato rosti with a fresh tomato sauce (GF, Can be Vegan)

TRIO OF DESSERT FOR ALL

Rhubarb & ginger crème brulé, Chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, Cheese wafer topped with brie and cheddar
