The Buxton Grand Tour will occur on 29 August 2026 beginning at 09:30 at St Ann's Well - Public Water Fountain. This 90 minute walk explores the heritage quarter of lower Buxton with various guides. Prices range from £14.25 to £24.00.
The fuller experience – a 90 minute wander through lower Buxton's heritage quarter, stepping inside some grand spaces.
Come and discover Buxton the way a good friend would show you – the fuller experience. This tour takes approximately an hour and a half to two hours and we'll wander the lower Buxton heritage quarter and, unlike our Highlights Tour, step inside some of Buxton's spaces where available on the day.
We keep it small – but may have capacity for some walk-up bookings on the day. You'll have room to ask questions and take it all in.
Please note, that as a working hotel, the Crescent itself isn't open for us to go inside on this tour – but we'll admire it from the outside and tell you its stories and show you some of our other amazing buildings.
