The Free Friday Social Walk from Castleton is a monthly free event led by walk leaders. The gentle 5-mile circular hike takes place on the third Friday of each month in Kinder, Edale and the High Peak near Buxton.
Join us on the third Friday of each month for a free social walk led by our knowledgeable walk leaders. Each walk will be a gentle 5-mile circular hike under the skyline of Mam Tor and the Great Ridge, departing and finishing at Castleton Visitors Centre. Social walks are a great opportunity to meet new people, discover new places, and build your confidence walking in the countryside.
Each walk will include mild ascent and descent and is not suitable for pushchairs or prams. Dogs on leads are welcome but there may be some stiles.
Please only book if you are certain you can make this event as capacity is limited.
