Our first Winter Wellbeing Walk takes us into the spectacular landscapes around Rushup Edge and Mam Tor
Theses Winter Wellbeing Walks are an invitation to do something different. Join me for a series of relaxed guided walks in the Peak District, designed around walking, conversation, connection and wellbeing.
You don't need to be super-fit. You don't need to know anyone else coming. And you don't need to have anything figured out. Just bring yourself, some decent footwear and a willingness to get outside.
Rushup Edge & Mam Tor | Winter Wellbeing Walk
Start your winter with a walk, a view and some good company.
This guided hike takes us into the spectacular landscapes around Rushup Edge and Mam Tor, rising from Edale Valley, with 10.5km of Peak District scenery, fresh air and plenty of opportunity to chat and reconnect.
We'll explore this iconic corner of the Peak District with view across the Edale Valley, walk a section on the great ridge at a relaxed pace, taking our time to enjoy the landscape rather than rushing from one point to the next.
Expect those big Peak District views that make you glad you put your boots on - even when getting out of the house felt like the harder part.
Along the way we'll enjoy:
🥾 The dramatic landscape around Rushup Edge
🏔️ The iconic Mam Tor Trig point and views
🌄 Sweeping views across the Hope Valley, Edale Valley and surrounding hills
💬 Plenty of time for conversation and connection
☕ A chance to pause at a local pub or café during or after the walk for a drink (any purchase is not included in the price of your ticket)

The core hope for my walks is that they are enjoyable and memorable experiences for everyone so we will keep to a slow and steady pace. It's about taking in the views, learning about the area and being outdoors in nature. You are also responsible for your own health and safety and there can be risks with all outdoor activities. You'll be asked to complete a medical form before the walk to let me know of any medical conditions prior to the day.
Whilst I plan and recce my walks, they are still subject to route adjustments where weather or other route conditions change in the days leading up to or on the day of your event. Any alterations are to ensure your safety and ensure you still get an enjoyable time out.
I am a qualified Hill and Moorland Leader and Outdoor First Aid trained so will be on hand in case of an emergency.
