An introduction to butterflies, their ecology and conservation, with Matt Hayes from Cambridge University's Department of Zoology.

Researcher Matt Hayes is a member of the Insect Ecology Group at the Department of Zoology in Cambridge. He has worked for the last 10 years with the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire, investigating the habitat requirements of UK butterflies and how they can be protected from the impacts of climate change. In this talk, Matt will give an introduction to butterflies, their ecology and conservation and finish with a few gardening tips.
