Join us for a festive evening celebrating a fantastic first year of the Broken Spines book club! We will be chatting about our favourite picks from this year, standout reads from outside of book club, as well as discussing titles and genres to delve into when we return in January. Even if you’ve not come along to Broken Spines before, this will be a great opportunity to meet fellow readers with a taste for the unusual and get an idea for what we will be reading in 2027!
Broken Spines Book Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month to delve into the subversive world of weird fiction. We will be reading a mixture of genre staples from supernatural stalwarts like Edgar Allan Poe and M.R. James to the more contemporary contributions of Sayaka Murata and Julia Armfield.
