This brand new free festival will bring together children, families and comic creators for a day packed with all things comics.

Cambridge Comic Jam

Join us for Cambridge Comic Jam, a brand-new FREE kids’ comics festival at The Hub, Cambridge Biomedical Campus on Saturday 17 October, 10am–3.30pm.

Come along and discover the world of comics with live drawing, hands-on comic-making, creative activities, book signings and plenty of FREE comics to take home. There will also be a quiet comic reading area where you can take a break, sit back and enjoy a comic.

Please note, you do not need to book a ticket, but it will help the events team and venue to understand numbers for general admission ahead of the event.

✏️ Pre-bookable workshops

See other events in the Comic Jam Collection. Throughout the day, talented comic creators will be running four FREE hands-on workshops, giving young comic fans the chance to get creative, learn new skills and make their own comics. Workshops must be booked separately in advance as places are limited.

Can't get a workshop place? Don't worry! The workshops are just one part of Cambridge Comic Jam, and you can still come along to the festival without a workshop booking. Enjoy the live drawing, drop-in creative stations, comic-making activities, book signings, free comics and quiet reading area – there's lots to see and do throughout the day.

The festival is completely FREE and no festival ticket is required – just turn up and join the Jam!
