About This Event

The Cambridge Islamic Heritage Tour is set for 21 November 2026 at 10:00, beginning at Jesus Green. This free walking tour, led by Yusuf Winter, will explore the Islamic history of Cambridge.

Join the Cambridge Festival of Islamic Arts’ walking tour of Cambridge, exploring the Islamic history of the city, led by Yusuf Winter.

Learn about some of the most well-known Muslims to come to Cambridge over the past 200 years. Witness important Islamic artifacts with exclusive access to several Colleges and the University Library, not normally open to public viewing.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time.

Open for all, regardless of faith.

About The Cambridge Festival of Islamic Arts

The Cambridge Festival of Islamic Arts runs from 19 to 29 November 2026, bringing performances, exhibitions, lectures, and workshops to Cambridge's historic colleges, museums, and cultural spaces. Open to everyone, the festival celebrates the beauty and diversity of Islamic arts, and, fifty years on from the landmark 1976 World of Islam Festival, carries that spirit into our own time.
