If you have an old shoebox full of mixtapes gathering dust or just a soft spot for the specific hiss of a cassette, come join us for Cambridge Tape Deck Tales and Analog Vibes. This is a low-pressure gathering for anyone interested in the tactile world of analog audio. We will be hanging out to talk about our favorite gear, share stories about the mixtapes that defined our younger years, and discuss the quirks of maintaining these decks today. This social club is meant to be a welcoming space for beginners and long-time enthusiasts alike. Whether you are currently building your first setup or you are just curious about why people are returning to tape, you will fit right in here. We are keeping things casual and focused on conversation, so feel free to bring along a tape you have been listening to lately or just bring yourself. If you think you might be able to make it, please take a moment to RSVP so we can get an idea of how many folks to expect.
