Could you spend a night sleeping outside to raise money for refugees? Sign up to CamCRAG's Sponsored Sleepout 2027, grab a tent & pitch up!

Would you be willing to join us as a sponsored 'Sleeper' at our Sponsored Sleepout 2027? This is our biggest annual fundraising event - now in its ninth year!

We will provide all you need to set up your personal JustGiving sponsorship page, and give help and advice to find sponsors. All the money raised will support CamCRAG, Cambridge's refugee group that makes regular convoys to northern France to support refugees and those displaced, escaping war and persecution. CamCRAG also supports charities and NGOs working further afield in Europe, where there is an ongoing and vital need for material and monetary donations.

You do not have to be an Antarctic explorer to join in as we have different options for sleeping: You can sleep inside St Giles' Church which will be warm, dry, and open all night, or you can pitch up a tent in the churchyard, or you can opt to sleep "rough" outside with no tent. Brrr! You must bring everything you need to have a comfortable and safe night, including your own tent and sleeping bag etc. You must be 18 or over, or 16-18 if you are accompanied by a parent or guardian, and be in reasonably good health.

We will start the evening with a reception party to launch the event. We will then serve you an informal communal supper in the church and we will give you breakfast the next day! All we ask is that you agree to raise the minimum of £200 to participate.

To register, please click on 'Reserve a Spot', leave your details and we will be in touch.

Thank you!
