Join us for a chilled evening of botanical acrylic painting at Town & Gown

Participants will learn to paint the beautiful forms of plants and flowers, while enjoying a relaxing drink and nibbbles. Producing an A4 painting of a botanical composition, as well as some smaller sketches. This workshop encourages the expressive and joyous side of observational painting, while also hopefully teaching you something new!

All materials will be provided.

Bring yourself and your friends! Open to all levels of experience, if you enjoy the reflective effects of painting this is for you. There will be lots of guidance from the artist, and a mix of techniques to try your hand at!

About the Artist:

Dusty is a professional artist, with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art Painting. She is trained in portraiture, landscape and sculpture and is interested in spreading the beneficial role of art into more everybody's lives.

This experience is run as part of Cambridge BID's Creative Club series. Taking place on the first Tuesday of every month, each session is led by a different artist or creative practitioner and hosted at a different venue across the city. The series aims for visitors and residents to explore a new activity (or practice an existing hobby) in a social setting within Cambridge. Activities include a variety of craft and creative led sessions, including illustration, ceramics and bouquet making... with much more to come!
