Join Cambridge Songwriters Collective for the first of our new monthly Creative Walks — exploring inspiring places around Cambridge through creativity, curiosity and connection.

About the Creative Walks

Our Creative Walks invite you to slow down, explore your surroundings and discover fresh creative inspiration. Each month, we'll explore a different route and a new corner of Cambridge, using what we notice along the way to spark reflection, curiosity and new ideas.

Before the walk, you’ll receive an email with a few creative prompts inspired by the month’s theme, ready to use along the way. You’re welcome to explore them quietly at your own pace or connect and share ideas with others in the group.

We'll finish each walk at a nearby café, with time to reflect, create, chat and share what has inspired us.

No experience is needed — just curiosity. Whether you enjoy songwriting, writing, drawing, photography, poetry, or simply want to explore your creativity, you're very welcome to join.

🌿 Walk #1: Follow the River

We'll meet in front of The Mill Pub and make our way through some of Cambridge's beautiful green spaces towards Grantchester Meadows, finishing together at the Orchard Tea Garden.

If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket so someone else can take your place.

Route information and creative prompts will be sent to you by email when you sign up.

Please wear comfortable footwear and dress for the weather. We'll finish at the Orchard Tea Garden, where you'll have the option to purchase a hot drink or something to eat.
