Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT)?

Gorsefield Rural Studies and Outdoor Activity Centre warmly invites Early Career Teachers to a friendly and inspiring Open Day.

This is a chance to step away from the classroom, explore our beautiful outdoor learning environment and discover how Gorsefield supports schools in bringing the curriculum to life through nature, creativity and hands-on experiences whilst developing your own skills and knowledge of outdoor learning

During the visit, you will be able to take part in a range of practical activities, such as orientering, archery and a campfire, learning yourself but also experiencing firsthand how a visit to Gorsefield can support and engage your pupils.

You will also have the opportunity to meet Paul Jackson, our Headteacher for a tour of the site, including our orchard, kitchen garden and outdoor learning spaces and gain a clear understanding of alll that Gorsefield offers.

Whether you are new to outdoor learning or already passionate about using the natural world to enrich children’s education, this open day will offer ideas, inspiration and a chance to see what is possible.

A delicious lunch and homemade refreshments will be provided by our Head Chef, Tom and the atmosphere will be relaxed and welcoming.
