Like a giant oyster shell, The Geldart will hinge open for us to gather on Sunday November 29th for a special evening of songs written and performed by Greta Thompson & friends.Join us for a swim through Greta's original song catalogue, compromising her under-construction-album (Sea Glass) and plenty more numbers, old and new. Seasonal change, nature as a transformative force and the local Cambridge fenland all serve as inspiration for her current spell of indie-folk songwriting. For several Sea Glass songs, Greta will be joined by local & London musicians Sophie Sanford (violin - Entropies, Izumi), Oscar Gue (guitar), Joe Doyland (drums, bodhrán - Deltic, Chepe Sinistra), Jemily Rime (bass - Jemily Rime) & Eloise Pearce (accordion), debuting their fullest instrumentation to date. This is not a gig to miss! Please tell and bring your favourite friends. There will be Sea Glass charms for sale and possibly postcards…You can listen to Greta's music on her website: https://gretathompson.co...
