Journey Within — 90cm Wind Gong & Crystal Bowls. A sound meditation beyond relaxation — an invitation to presence and inner exploration.
I often get asked what actually happens during my sound sessions. And the truth is — everyone experiences them differently.
I work with a 90cm Wind Gong.
It is a big instrument, and when I play it, the room becomes filled with layers of sound, vibration and overtones. You can hear the sound, of course, but for many people it becomes a very physical experience too.
After one of my sessions, someone said:
“It felt like my brain had been massaged.”
Another person told me:
“I could feel waves moving through my whole body.”
And someone else described feeling as though they had been travelling through nature.
I love hearing these stories because I never know what someone’s experience will be.
I also work with crystal singing bowls, and I don’t just play them because they sound beautiful. I work intentionally with different musical intervals — octaves, perfect fifths, minor thirds and minor seconds — and use different playing techniques to create harmony, tension and silence, with an understanding of how different intervals can shape our experience of sound.
For me, the interesting part begins when your attention becomes so absorbed in listening that, even for a while, that endless conversation in your head becomes quieter.
You don’t need to meditate “properly”.
You don’t need to clear your mind.
You don’t need to achieve anything.
You can just be there and see what happens.
And maybe this is the simplest way I can explain what I am trying to create.
I create the sound and hold the space. Your experience belongs to you.
There is also a reason why I came to this work.
For more than 20 years I worked as a doctor in Ukraine, mainly with women. I come from a family of doctors, so medicine has been around me all my life.
And I believe deeply in medicine with holistic approach towards the mental health and life in general.
All those years of working with people also taught me how much we need time and space to care for ourselves outside a doctor’s room — especially when we have been living with stress for a long time.
This is the work I am developing now in England: bringing together my background in medicine and psychology with my training and practice in therapeutic sound and holistic wellbeing.
So Journey Within is not just another hour to “relax”.
It is an hour to be with yourself.
And perhaps to discover what happens when, for a little while, you stop listening to everything around you and start listening to what is happening within you.

Creating a safe space is very important to me. Your safety always comes first, which is why I ask everyone to read the following information before attending a session.
A sound therapy session may not be appropriate, or may require additional discussion beforehand, if you:
have epilepsy or a history of seizures;
are experiencing an acute mental health episode, including acute psychosis;
are currently under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs;
are in the first trimester of pregnancy;
have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic medical device;
have a condition where strong sound or vibration may be unsuitable, including significant sound sensitivity or certain hearing conditions;
have recently had surgery or a serious acute medical condition, where exposure to strong vibration may not be appropriate.
If you are pregnant beyond the first trimester, have a significant medical or mental health condition, take medication that may affect your response to the session, or are unsure whether sound therapy is suitable for you, please speak with your healthcare professional.
I use a large 90cm Wind Gong, so this particular session can include powerful sound, vibration and changes in intensity. You are always free to change position, cover your ears, move further away from an instrument or leave the room at any point.
You are always in control of your experience.
