About This Event

On 14 September 2026, from 6:00 pm onwards, the Brandon Royal British Legion in Cambridge will host a free public event entitled "Rabbits: A Look at Their Role in the Brecks." The evening will feature a series of talks by knowledgeable speakers who will explore everything there is to know about wild rabbits. Topics will range from their ecological impact on the local environment to their significance within the broader community. This engaging and informative session promises to offer attendees a comprehensive understanding of these ubiquitous creatures and their role in the Breckland landscape.

Everything you wanted to know about wild rabbits and more!

Join Natural England's Senior Reserve Manager, Chris Hainsworth and learn how influential even small creatures can be in this talk on rabbits. Take a whistlestop tour of the role rabbits have played in history generally, in the town of Brandon particularly, and their importance in wildlife conservation today.
