About This Event

This is a second monthly book club event dedicated specifically to reading series, the series we are reading is The Greenbone Saga by Fonda Lee starting with the first book in the trilogy Jade City. We will be reading one book per event and these events will be bi-monthly. As this is the event for the first book in the series, we will decide at the end of the discussion if we want to continue with this series or pick something else. ***Jade City* by Fonda Lee** is an urban fantasy set in a city where magical jade grants extraordinary abilities to those who can wield it. The story follows a powerful crime family as they navigate rivalries, politics, and tradition in a struggle for influence and survival. Blending family drama with martial arts and organized crime, it's a character-driven fantasy with rich worldbuilding and high stakes. 18:30 at The Burleigh Arms (9-11 Newmarket Rd, Cambridge CB5 8EG) Feel free to join even if you didn't finish or haven't read the book.
