Come join our conversation and make your voice heard in shaping what’s next for rural communities in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough!

If you could change one thing about life in your rural community, what would it be? And what would you want to protect?

From places to meet and access volunteer opportunities to transport and local services, rural life means different things to different people.

You know things about your community that research alone cannot tell us: what brings people together, what makes everyday life difficult, and where there is potential for something better.

Your contribution will help Cambridgeshire ACRE identify priorities for its future support, partnerships, projects, and funding proposals. We’re starting with open questions, so your ideas can influence the opportunities we develop.

We want to hear what matters to you.

Join us for one of our interactive community workshops exploring the future of rural communities across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Bring your experiences, concerns, and ideas, and help us identify what will help your community thrive over the next five years.

Through small-group conversations and practical activities, we’ll explore:

Rural life now: what works well, what matters most and what is difficult.

Your hopes and fears for the future: what you think could change over the next five years.

The future you want for your children and grandchildren: what a thriving rural community would look like to you.

What you would like to see done: the challenges, ideas, and support that could help us get there.
