Forest Bathing+ Session - King's Wood, Challock

Join us for a restorative Forest Bathing+ session at the beautiful King's Wood, Challock. This in-person event will take place on Sunday 20 September, 2026 at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Take a pause from the stresses of daily life as you immerse yourself in the healing power of nature on this restorative 2 hour Forest Bathing+ Session at King's Wood, Challock. Leave the outside world behind as you gently engage the senses and really slow down and relax. This unique experience is the perfect opportunity to quietly connect with nature, recharge and rebalance your mind and body.

We will take a slow, quiet, walk through the forest, engaging the senses, to help you unwind, deepen your connection with nature, and boost your mental and physical health. You will also take away tips to explore in your own time in nature.

Learn more about Forest Bathing, rooted in the Japanese culture of Shinrin-yoku - shinrin meaning "forest" and yoku meaning "bath". A methodical practice of taking time in a forest atmosphere, slowing down, and connecting deeply with nature through the senses. A therapeutic way to de-stress and improve health and well-being.

Parking: Parking at King's Wood has been free of charge for many years. Unfortunately, as their operational costs keep rising, this is no longer sustainable and parking charges will apply from June 2026, at £2 per hour. Money from car parking is essential to help them continue caring for the nation's forests, including King's Wood and making them welcoming places to visit.
