Do you feel confident that you would know what to do if a situation suddenly became threatening?

This session is designed for ordinary people — you do not need to be fit, experienced or have any previous martial arts or self-defence training.
During the workshop, our instructors will introduce practical skills and principles that can help you recognise danger earlier, respond under pressure and protect yourself if a situation becomes physical.
We’ll look at areas including:
Situational awareness and recognising potential threats
Creating distance and avoiding confrontation
Using your voice and setting boundaries
Simple, practical striking
Escaping common grabs and attacks
What to do if somebody becomes aggressive

This isn't about learning complicated martial arts techniques. The aim is to give you realistic, usable skills and a better understanding of how to keep yourself safe.
