Join David Carey (coordinator of the Kent Tree and Pond Partnership) and the Friends of Old Park and Chequer's Wood for a guided tree walk through one of Canterbury’s remarkable Old Park.
Explore a rich mosaic of ancient woodland and wet alder woodland, scrub, ponds and rare acid grassland, and discover the trees, wildlife and stories that make Old Park such a historically significant and special landscape for nature and people.
Please note: Defined but some sloping, uneven and potentially muddy ground mean this may be unsuitable for those with reduced mobility.
