The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration Kent, Surrey and Sussex (ARC KSS) is delighted to announce Research Week 2026, taking place in September 2026.
From Monday 14 September to Wednesday 16 September, we will host a series of online events exploring inclusive, collaborative and impactful approaches to applied health and social care research.
These sessions will lead into an in‑person symposium on Thursday 17 September 2026, held at the Darwin Conference Suite, University of Kent, Canterbury.
The symposium will begin at 10:00, with registration and refreshments from 09:30.
Attendees can expect a rich schedule of learning and development workshops, research insight talks and presentations designed for those working in applied health and social care research — including early career researchers, practitioners, and PhD students. There will also be an exhibition of all entries to our Research Poster Competition, including the chance to meet this year’s winners.
