Join James Sherwood for an exclusive evening of monumental cityscapes, an artist talk, drinks and good company at Purple Pie Gallery!

An Evening with James SherwoodThe Skyline Series | Saturday 24th October 2026

Big art. Big cities. One very special evening. 💜

Join us at Purple Pie Gallery for an exclusive evening with Cardiff-based contemporary artist James Sherwood, as he unveils his largest and most ambitious body of work to date — The Skyline Series.

Created on an enormous scale, James transforms familiar streets, landmarks and skylines into vibrant, textured cityscapes, capturing the movement, colour and character of each city.

At the centre of the evening will be his latest and largest work — a monumental, two-metre-wide painting of Bristol.

Alongside Bristol, you'll have the rare opportunity to see the original paintings Caerdydd, Casnewydd and Angeltogether, plus a limited-edition print of the sold-out original, Abertawe.

One artist. Five cities. One night.
