Come join us in Cardiff for a casual journalling meetup! Open to newbies, avid journallers or sticker collectors alike

Welcome to Coffee, Cakes & Journals, a casual journalling meetup organised by Desy (she/her) from Cute Stickers Only (https://www.instagram.com/cutestickersonly/) and Leo McJames (she/her) (https://www.instagram.com/leomcjames). We are two journallers based in South Wales who love to meet fellow journallers, planners or sticker collectors alike and spend a cosy afternoon chatting about all things stationery over coffee and cakes!

Join us on Saturday 7th November at Brodies Coffee - On The Wall Castle Street, Cardiff at 12pm. This month we are making an autumn collage in our journals. Here are some ideas of different spreads you can make:

Favourite thing about autumn

Autumn bucket list

Cosy hobbies & activities

Favourite autumnal recipe e.g. pumpkin pie, casserole, stew, soup, etc

Autumn memory spread (bring any photos or junk!)

Don't forget to bring your favourite autumnal stickers and other supplies, otherwise we'll have an autumn-leaf-shaped punch you can use, an array of deco papers and various bits to share.

Feel free to also bring your journals, planners, or any other project you want to work on for the remainder of the time. Whether you are new to journalling, an avid journaller, a seasoned planner, or a sticker collector - you are more than welcome to join!

It is free to RSVP but we welcome donations on an optional pay-what-you-can basis to keep our group running. If you're not able to donate right now, please don't let that stop you coming along, we'd still love to see you there!

Brodies Coffee have kindly offered to host our meetup so please do purchase a hot drink or two. They also serve lunch, feel free to check out the menu (https://www.brodiescoffee.co.uk/_webedit/uploaded-files/All%20Files/Menu/The%20Wall%20-%20MENU%20A4%20Print.pdf).

Note: If you arrive early, a few of us are going to Kenji beforehand to check out their 1st Birthday sale (https://www.stdavidscardiff.com/en/event-listing-page/kenji-is-turning-one)!

You are invited to join our Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/coffeecakesjournalssouthwales) (optional) so we could meet and chat beforehand. We also have a WhatsApp group chat so we could easily find each other on the day, please ask to be added after RSVP-ing.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Desy or Leo on socials. Can't wait to see you there!

PS: If you are feeling nervous, or anxious about walking in to the event on your own - please get in touch with one of us. We both completely understand this feeling, and will be happy to meet you ahead of time so we can arrive together, or help in any other way we can! We would hate for you to miss out on the event. :)
