Following headline shows at Reading and Leeds festivals, Fontaines D.C. have announced a huge Welsh show at Blackweir, with support from Little Simz and Viagra Boys. The band will follow in the footsteps of the likes of The Cure, Stevie Wonder, Alanis Morissette, Slayer and Lewis Capaldi as headliners at the iconic new music series in the Welsh capital. The news follows the recent announcement of Fontaines D.C.’s fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, released on 16th October via XL Recordings. Produced by James Ford, it’s the follow-up to 2024’s UK platinum-certified Romance — the sound of a band moving decisively away from the guitar language of their early records and into their most seductive music yet.
