About the event

Step into the world of MAISON BDN for an intimate fashion experience celebrating the evolution of the multi-award-winning brand.

As part of the British Fashion Council’s Fashion Britain initiative, Founder and Creative Director Yousra Elsadig presents archival pieces that trace the journey of MAISON BDN, bridging British and Welsh identity with Sudanese heritage through fashion.

Rather than a traditional runway, The Archive invites you to move through a series of curated spaces, each exploring a different part of the MAISON BDN story.

From floral influences inspired by Welsh nature to Sudanese culture and bold, architectural and sporty styling, archival pieces will be brought to life through models, movement, sound, art and visual storytelling.

Drawing from the Sudanese tradition of welcoming people into the home, the experience brings guests into the world of MAISON BDN in an intimate setting, creating an opportunity to experience the clothes and the stories behind them up close.

Artwork by visual artist Sulafa “Sue” Omar will also be displayed throughout the experience, with expressive works exploring identity, memory, home and African heritage through colour and abstraction.

Ticket holders are invited to return on Monday 28 September for the MAISON BDN Shop + Style experience.

Explore and shop the collection, revisit the curated spaces and receive styling from Yousra, with 20% off MAISON BDN merchandise included with your Sunday ticket.

A limited number of complimentary RSVP spaces will also be available separately for Monday.
