Join me for a hike around this classic Lakeland route. It's a tough but hugely rewarding route with stunning views and Wainwright summits.

This is a classic and challenging Horsehoe route, including the Wainwrights Barrow, Causey Pike/Scar Crags/Outerside, Sail, Crag Hill and Grizedale Pike. Which summits will be taken will be dependant on the route decided on the day.

This guided hike is limited to a small group so everyone can enjoy the day at a relaxed pace, ask questions and feel comfortable in the hills. Whether you’re coming with friends or joining solo, it’s a great opportunity to explore one of England’s most spectacular landscapes while meeting like-minded people. It is a challenging route and you will need to be fairly fit and comfortable on uneven and slippery terrain.

Starting from The Village Shop and Cafe in Braithwaite, we'll go clockwise and the climb to Barrow, taking in the steep climb slowly and steadily (lots of stops for breath and photos!) and then onwards all the way to Crag Hill, before returning via Grizedale Pike and returning to our start point.

The day is all about enjoying the hills at a friendly pace. Whether you’re looking to explore new places, build confidence in the mountains, or simply spend a great day outdoors meeting like-minded people, you’ll be in safe hands.
