Leaders in long-term care and home care face some of the most complex leadership challenges anywhere. Long hours, demanding work environments, remote teams, persistent recruitment and retention pressures, and ongoing attendance and performance issues are part of everyday leadership in these sectors.

In response to feedback from our members, HANS is offering a three‑part leadership workshop series designed specifically for long-term care and home care leaders. Facilitated by Alison McEachern, who brings over 30 years of experience working alongside leaders in these fields, this series focuses on strengthening the practical, people‑centred leadership skills you use every day.

This interactive program goes beyond theory. Participants will engage with realistic, sector‑specific scenarios and practise essential leadership conversations in a supportive, low‑stakes environment. With facilitation by experienced sector professionals and simulations led by actors with health care backgrounds, you’ll gain skills and confidence you can apply immediately in your role.

Who should attend:

Anyone in a leadership or managerial position within a long-term care or home care organization.
