KONUA - Thoughtful Original Songs with Electronic Production, Live Strings, Projection and Light Show. Live, KONUA is an immersive experience of original songs coupled with live isntruments, synthesizers, live strings and bespoke visuals. Ideal for fans of the likes of RY X, Olafur Arnalds, Monolink etc... Funded and supported by Carlow Beo, we are so grateful to able to offer this experience in my home town of Carlow. Its such a lovely feeling to seed this project from Carlow and watch it grow with pride to far flung places. KONUA is an artist project from vocalist-lyricist Joe Cleere and producer-composer Lorenzo Cosi, built for twilight festival slots, galleries, and multidisciplinary shows. It blends songcraft with textured electronics, live strings, and hand-played percussion, shaping warm, nocturnal journeys that speak to slowing down, letting go, and tuning back into the self. The project couples Cleere’s poetic, affirmational writing and distinctive voice with cinematic sound design and arrangement from Producer Lorenzo Cosi. Cleere’s voice and writing feature on Paul Kalkbrenner’s Parachute, anchoring KONUA’s connection to the electronic world while keeping the focus on songs. Cosi’s track record includes multiple Gold and Platinum certifications with Productions for David Guetta, Lana Del Rey, Galantis, Littlemix... yet KONUA marks a return to his roots — the kind of music he has always loved and nurtured in his own space. It’s a project built for depth, intimacy, and sonic exploration, free from compromise and driven by a long-standing passion for blending electronic landscapes with human storytelling.
