About This Event

The Supporting Autistic Learners In The Classroom workshop will be held at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel in Carlow on 2026-09-10 at 18:00, exploring the theme of 'Connection over Compliance'. Tickets cost £22.42.

Join us for a warm, practical workshop exploring what “Connection Over Compliance” looks like in everyday school life.

Together, we’ll look at neuro-affirmative ways to support autistic learners through connection, understanding, co-regulation, and responsive practice — moving away from “fixing behaviours” and towards creating environments where students feel safe, respected, and able to thrive. Expect lots of relatable examples, practical ideas, and supportive strategies that can be used straight away in classrooms and school settings.
