Join us for a fun and educational experience exploring the beautiful surroundings of South Green while learning about the edible treasures it has to offer. We’ll guide you on a relaxed walk through the area, highlighting and explaining the seasonal fungi and plants along the way. This event is perfect for nature lovers, foodies, and anyone looking to connect with the great outdoors.

This walk requires a reasonable level of fitness and stable footing, as it passes through woodland with uneven ground, exposed roots and other potential trip hazards. Sturdy footwear is strongly and appropriate clothing is hihgly recommended.

To protect wildlife and ecosystems, we will not be collecting plants for consumption as a group during the walk. Instead, this guided nature walk will focus on identification and how you can use them in your own personal foraging.
